TRUCK FAW JIEFANG Unveils Battery-Electric Powertrain Portfolio
TRUCK FAW JIEFANG integrates its core components into pre-validated power-domain solutions encompassing vehicle–cloud coordinated control, intelligent energy management, integrated thermal management, and intelligent diagnostics and maintenance. It has developed eight e-axle-based power-domain product lines and three electric-drive-transmission-based power-domain product lines, covering mini-, light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles.
Centered on an e-axle, the ER540 Power Domain is positioned as a battery-electric power-domain solution delivering ultra-low energy consumption, ultra-light weight, and an exceptionally long service life. It comprises the R13E540S4 heavy-duty e-axle, EP600 traction battery system, SiC-based integrated drive and control unit, and integrated thermal management system. Designed for 42-ton heavy-duty 4×2 tractor units, the ER540 achieves energy consumption of 1 kWh/km, reduces weight by 300 kg, and offers a B10 service life of 2 million km.
Centered on an electric-drive transmission, the EE300 Power Domain is positioned as a battery-electric power-domain solution delivering exceptional power and unmatched reliability. It comprises the E-Shift S7 heavy-duty electric-drive transmission, EP600 traction battery system, SiC-based integrated drive and control unit, and integrated thermal management system. Designed for applications including 120-ton heavy-duty 6×4 tractor units and heavy-duty 8×4 tippers, the EE300 maintains a speed of over 50 km/h on a sustained 5% gradient, offers maximum gradeability exceeding 40%, and has a B10 service life of 1.5 million km.
Building on the large-scale adoption of new-energy commercial vehicles in China, TRUCK FAW JIEFANG battery-electric power-domain products have entered large-scale commercial operation. More than 20,000 e-axle-based power-domain systems have been delivered to customers, accumulating over 1 billion km in operation. More than 5,000 electric-drive-transmission-based power-domain systems have been delivered, with cumulative operational mileage exceeding 150 million km. Their reliability has been fully validated through large-scale commercial operation.
