FAW Fire Truck shown in Beijing exhibition

2025-10-15

On October 13, the 21st China International Fire Equipment Technology Exchange Exhibition grandly opened at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, centered around the theme "Empowered by Tech in Operations, Driving Industry Growth, Serving Fire and Rescue." FAW Jiefang showcased two high-end models—the Eagle-M Single-Cab Elevated Jet Fire Truck and the Eagle-M Double-Cab Foam & Water Tanker Fire Truck—demonstrating its advanced technical strength in high-end firefighting equipment.

Professional Customization: Tailored for Diverse Firefighting Scenarios

Both Eagle-M models were professionally customized to address specific emergency response needs, displaying exceptional scenario adaptability.

Eagle-M Double-Cab Foam & Water Tanker Fire Truck

Designed specifically for fire suppression operations, this model features an integrated factory double-cab with a spacious interior that accommodates up to 7 firefighters. It perfectly matches the rapid deployment needs of a standard 7-person fire station crew, serving as a primary asset for "water-based extinguishing and foam-based tackling."

Eagle-M Single-Cab Elevated Jet Fire Truck

Engineered for high-altitude operations, this model features an innovative single-cab low-flat-roof design with an embedded rear intake system. This maximizes space for installing and operating the upper boom system, making it a formidable tool for combating fires in high-rise buildings and petrochemical facilities.

Five Core Values: Forging Hardcore Firefighting Capability

FAW Jiefang Eagle-M fire trucks have undergone comprehensive upgrades centered around five core values: High Reliability, High Safety, High Convenience, Chassis-Bodywork Integration, and Dedicated Firefighting Cabs.

1. High Reliability

Powered by engines optimized for firefighting conditions, equipped with international top-tier Power Take-Offs (PTO), and built with an independent forced oil-cooling system. Utilizing IP67-rated waterproof aviation plugs, highly reliable air circuits, and low-quiescent-current technology, the truck achieves remarkable standby readiness—capable of starting instantly even after 10 days of park-time—to support continuous 24-hour combat operations.

2. High Safety

Equipped with all-wheel disc brakes and an Electronic Braking System (EBS), along with integrated active safety technologies such as AEBS, FCWS, LDWS, TPMS, and ESC to create a comprehensive protection system. A high-strength body structure paired with a 360° surround-view system further safeguards both transit and site operations.

3. High Convenience

The side floor height of the Eagle-M 4×2 double-cab is lowered to 1.25 meters, paired with 500mm-wide steps and 85° wide-opening doors for rapid boarding and disembarking. The automatic transmission reduces driver fatigue, while features like remote start-stop and cabin floor drains enhance practical operational convenience down to the details.

4. Integrated Chassis-Bodywork Design

Built with deep pre-installation reserves, including power outlets, dedicated wiring harnesses for warning lights, handheld walkie-talkie interfaces, radio mounting space, laptop mounts, and bodywork air intake ports. Standard chassis hole layouts allow for fast modification. Additionally, the new-generation dedicated telematics system can monitor the status of water, power, fuel, and air systems for intelligent vehicle management.

5. Dedicated Firefighting Cabs

Single- and double-cab configurations were developed specifically for different scenario demands. Both driver and co-driver seats feature high-comfort air-suspension seating. The entire cab rests on a four-point air suspension system optimized for NVH, significantly enhancing long-distance ride comfort so firefighters remain in peak condition.

The FAW Jiefang Eagle-M high-end fire trucks reflect the company’s deep technical expertise and innovative capability in specialized vehicles, while demonstrating the commitment of a leading domestic brand to advancing national fire and emergency rescue equipment. Moving forward, FAW Jiefang will continue collaborating with top global suppliers and leading domestic bodybuilders to drive Chinese firefighting vehicles toward higher reliability, superior safety, and greater specialization—providing stronger equipment support to safeguard emergency response efficiency and protect lives and property.
